Ariana Grande is just one of many celebrities who have fallen victim of a music leak. However, she is NOT letting this slide. During an interview on the Zach Sang Show, Grande revealed that the songs produced in collaboration with Swedish producer Max Martin had found their way onto TikTok without her consent. One of the leaked tracks, “Fantasize,” was among the stolen tunes, leaving Grande understandably frustrated.

Describing the leaked songs as “thieves, pirates, crooks, illegal,” Grande didn’t hold back in expressing her anger for the unauthorized release.

“Before I left for Wicked, the few studio sessions I did, which are all, all, over TikTok, thank you so much,” Grande explained. “I’ll see you in jail, literally,” Grande said, in address to those responsible for the leak. She goes on to say, “So ‘Fantasize’ comes out. ‘Comes out.’ Crazy, was stolen. Comes out? Thieves, pirates, crooks, illegal. I’ll pay you more to put it away, to get it back,” Grande said.

Despite the setback, Grande managed to find a silver lining, noting that some of the leaked ideas had evolved into new tracks on her upcoming album, “Eternal Sunshine.”

“But fans loved it, and I was like, ‘A: all of you are absolute hypocrites, and B: that’s crazy! It’s so corny!’ But it’s okay. I took the note, and I kind of gave them Ariana’s version of that on the album. I would say that exists,” she said. “So, some of those seedling ideas from that time actually made their way onto the album, which is really exciting, but they’re completely different now.”

Although hackers were able to get their paws on Grande’s precious unreleased music, she told Sang that those tracks are “very different now. So, that’s exciting.”

Grande is currently gearing up for the release of her seventh studio album. “Eternal Sunshine,” is set to drop on March 8.
