Chrisean Rock is determined to take the music world by storm and it looks like she’s on the right track!
This week, the new rapper became a Billboard Hot 100-charting artist all thanks to her latest catchy song “Mr. Take Ya B-tch.” It’s a collaboration with fellow artist Lil Mabu. The song, which dropped on Oct. 17, landed the 96th spot on the chart with 7.8 million U.S. streams.
This comes just two weeks after the track became Rock’s first-ever Billboard chart entry. At the time, it debuted at No. 33 on the TikTok Billboard Top 50 chart. However, she hit the No. 1 spot the following week.
Reacting to the news, the Baddies star took to social media to express her appreciation to her fans who have been rocking with her and her music. She said, “God got me hitting billboard 100 it’s crazy cuz I did it while I was in a storm, my baby was still in the hospital recovering from surgery, and I was so down fr just mentally. [And] for me to be able to create in a storm bro
I’m just letting y’all know God just want you to try and he will do the rest.”
She added, “Just make sure your heart is…Posture is correct so you can receive yo blessings.”
Despite her rocky years she’s been having she still has a lot to celebrate. On top of her music going up, the reality star also welcomed her baby boy two months ago.
During her appearance on the Jason Lee Show, Chrisean Rock explained that she’s been putting more of her focus on her son and her music following her split with Blueface. While there, she also detailed why she couldn’t be with him anymore.
“We was in love,” Rock clarified. “It was just more like I couldn’t really give him what he wanted. He wanted a slave. “She went on to say,
“I be reciprocating the same energy as him, and it doesn’t work when a n***a from L.A. He get pimp daddy vibes,” Rock continued. “‘I’m the daddy I do what I do and you just, you gonna suck my d**k or what? You gonna get me the money or what?'”
