Alexis Adams, the mother of Flo Rida’s son, has expressed her willingness to settle the lawsuit regarding their son’s terrifying fall from her New Jersey apartment building. However, it seems that this settlement will come at a hefty price.
According to recent reports, Adams is seeking an 8-figure payout in order to bring an end to the legal battle. As we previously reported, their son Zohar Dillard was seriously injured in a March 4 fall from a fifth-floor window of her New Jersey apartment building. Later that month she filed a lawsuit against the management company, saying the equipment they installed in the window didn’t keep her 6-year-old safe.
Zohar, who is disabled, suffered “a shattered pelvis, left metatarsal fractures, Grade 3 liver laceration, internal bleeding and collapsed lungs,” and other injuries, according to a statement from her lawyer. Adams said at the time “I am just so grateful that my son is alive, fighting, and is still here with me. He’s a real-life superhero.” However, now she wants justice for him. According to @tmz_tv, Adams says it will take $40 million for her to settle the suit she’s filed against the various parties who she believes are responsible for her son’s near-fatal incident.
“As a single mom to a special needs child, this feels like a nightmare. My heart is broken into a million pieces,” Adams previously said in a statement. “I am devastated, angry, and struggling to come to terms with the fact that my only child has suffered severe injuries due to the willful negligence of our landlord and others involved in failing to take necessary safety measures.”
She’s expecting 20 million from one set of defendants and $20 million from another. Per the outlet, there’s no indication in the docs that any of the defendants are even interested in paying that amount to resolve her case.
Now, despite previously calling Flo Rida out for not paying the child’s health insurance or medical bills, he is not involved in this latest lawsuit.

How Likely Is It For Someone To Win A Legal Case Over A Near-Fatal Fall?
When it comes to determining the likelihood of winning a lawsuit from a fall, several factors come into play. While every case is unique outcomes can vary. Firstly, it is crucial to consider the circumstances surrounding the fall. Factors such as negligence or hazardous conditions on the premises where the fall occurred are significant determinants. If it can be proven that someone else’s negligence contributed to the fall, it may increase the chances of winning a lawsuit.
