Saucy Santana’s team spoke with TMZ to let it be known that they never received $25k for the rapper to show up and perform at a pride event.

According to TMZ, Santana is claiming he only received half of deposit before the show. The report claims, Saucy missed his flight and the people who booked him was still willing to extend the event or even have him perform at a after party, but unfortunately the rate they offered for that was lower than what he was used to. After things didn’t go as planned his team says people are trying to paint him to be a bad guy.

On top of that Santana’s team also allegedly told the promoters they didn’t need everything that was originally on his list at that point. The only thing they were requesting was liquor, hookah, and chicken wings to pack up take for later. His team also took the time to deny claims that they used a rental vehicle all day just cruise around.

Jerry, the owner of the rental vehicle provided for Saucy’s team, also says OMOV still hasn’t paid him.

If you’re not familiar with what’s going on, news broke earlier today that Saucy Santana was threatened with a lawsuit for not showing up to a show for a Memphis Pride event.

A rep for One Memphis One Vision spoke with TMZ Hip Hop and claims they paid the “Material Girl” rapper $25K in advance of the performance for this past weekend but, in light of his absence, they want all of it back.

The team claims they have received any of their money back. Videos that surfaced on Instagram also shows Saucy promoting the event, but like we stated above his team claims issues occurred due to a flight delay.

The company told TMZ, they dished out thousands of dollars on a personal vehicle — because Saucy refused to use Uber Black — which Saucy’s team paraded around in all day, despite his absence.

The rep also believes Saucy has no respect for their nonprofit, which advocates for youth battling HIV/AIDS.

The organizers say the sole purpose of the event was to get people tested, and while fans flocked to the doors. The company says they dipped out once they realized Saucy was a no-show.
