As we previously reported, Stevie and Faith first got married in July 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The couple had a loving ceremony in a chapel, leaving all of their friends and family shocked. However, things in their marriage soon took a wild turn when Faith was arrested for reportedly attacking Stevie in May 2020.

At the time of the breaking reports, it was said that Faith and Stevie got into a heated argument that turned physical. It wasn’t clear what caused the argument, but police sources told TMZ that they found visible marks and scratches on Stevie’s face, suggesting that his wife had been the one who was the more aggressive one. Being so, officers arrested Faith and booked her on felony domestic violence charges. She ended up quickly bonding out that same day.

In June 2020, Faith’s felony domestic violence case was dismissed after Stevie refused to testify. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said they would no longer be pursuing prosecution of the legendary singer, as the alleged victim, her husband, declined to speak out against her.

Before the May 2020 incident, there were reports swirling that the couple’s marriage had been on the rocks. At one point, Stevie even shared some tweets, seemingly alleging that his wife had cheated on him.

He wrote, “Found of that NO woman is faithful. Knew that & it’s a blessing to know. Wanna show the world what being a stand up guy will get you. Trust no b*tch.” After the tweets went viral, he later claimed that someone had hacked into his Twitter account and sent the messages. Later, a video would surface online showing Stevie calling Faith a b*tch multiple times, and accusing her of sleeping with someone else in their home that they share. Stevie would end up issuing a public apology to his wife.

In the video he said, “I’d like to make this video for my wife. A video was released last week that showed me like talking crazy to my wife, publicly humiliate my wife. Nah, she ain’t cheat. I was just in the moment. You know how us guys do. I’d like to take the time to apologize to you, Faith, and let you know I love you. I’m here for you, always.”

After Faith’s DV case was dismissed in June 2020, a little over a year later, Stevie would file for divorce. In November 2021, we shared that after just three years of marriage, Stevie filed divorce documents with the Los Angeles County Superior Court.

In December 2021, Stevie would then file legal documents requesting spousal support from Faith. The Blast reported that in addition to demanding his wife give him monthly spousal support, he requested that they “terminate” her ability to receive support from him.

The publication said the docs they obtained showed that the couple had been “separated since October 19, 2021,” citing “irreconcilable differences” as the cause of their split. Two days after news broke of Stevie wanting spousal support, it was reported that Faith filed to have his request rejected.

According to Florida News Times, Faith filed to maintain “all property acquired before marriage, by gifts, inheritance, or ingenuity, and after the date of separation,” and petitioned the judge to deny Stevie’s proposal for spousal assistance. Per Faith’s filings, she listed the couple as being officially separated since May 29, 2020, which is a year and a half before Stevie indicated in his docs.

At one point after filing for divorce, the couple did attempt to reconcile. Stevie even issued another PSA to his wife. He said, “Faith Rene Jordan I’ve hurt you, disrespected you, and humiliated you in front of the world. From this day forward I promise to listen to your feelings and be more delicate with your heart. I also promise to build you up even more & to communicate daily with you, respect you, and love on you until you’re as happy as you were when we got married.”

Stevie said he had “learned his lesson,” and that “God knows I’m a better man with you and I’m asking you to find it in your heart to forgive me and allow me to rebuild our trust.”

As of June 2023, The Blast has now reported that they have obtained new legal documents showing that Stevie filed a declaration of disclosure, meaning his divorce will soon be finalized. This form essentially indicates that one side has handed over all of their final financial documents to the other party in the ongoing divorce, so they’ll be looking to settle soon.

It is reported that Stevie’s final documents handed over were filed this past week in Los Angeles, just a few weeks after he was forced to turn over a Mercedes Sprinter van that Faith reported stolen. According to Faith, on April 12 she fell asleep and Stevie took the “family vehicle” to the Palm Desert to hit up Coachella; however, she claims Stevie didn’t have “permission” from his estranged wife to do so.

At the time, Faith filed a police report claiming the vehicle, that she bought in cash for $164,000, had been stolen, and a judge ordered it be returned immediately. The document stated, “The insurance policy does not cover [Stevie], and he is unauthorized to drive.”
