Social Media Defends Beyonce Over Complaints She Wasn’t Dancing Enough At Her ‘Renaissance World Tour’ Concert Due To Alleged Foot Surgery

Despite delivering a stellar show on the opening night of her Renaissance World Tour in Stockholm, Sweden, on Wednesday, Beyonce is already facing backlash for her lack of dancing throughout the concert. Per the Daily Mail, some concert-goers were left feeling underwhelmed after noticing that Bey wasn’t giving much choreography to songs where they had expected her to show out with a fiery dance routine. Some critics are blaming her alleged foot surgery as the reason Beyonce is said to have given fewer moves than she’s used to on her previous tours.

As you may recall, back in January, when Bey was paid upwards of $20 million to perform at Atlantis The Royal opening in Dubai, it was claimed she was still recovering from surgery after injuring her foot. However, these reports were never actually confirmed by the singer, who we all know is very private about her personal life. But after the opening night of her new tour, some fans are convinced the “Heated” chart-topper, despite putting on one hell of a performance, may not have been ready to kick off her tour, which was apparently noticeable in the lack of choreography.

On top of that, it’s further said that her dance captain, Ashley Everett, as well as several other long-time dancers, were also nowhere in sight at the Sweden concert. But trust and believe that as soon as the Bey-hive caught wind of the comments people were making about Beyonce, they were quick to come to her defense. Many of them said that if she did actually undergo surgery due to an injury, she should be commended for committing herself to the 57-date trek while others argued that people just love coming for Bey.

Bey’s Renaissance World Tour is one of the most anticipated events of the year, though the singer did face some backlash after ticket prices were revealed on sites, including Ticketmaster, where some were paying up to $700 for standard seats.

While not everyone saw an issue with the prices, saying they were bound to get an experience of a lifetime getting to see Queen Bey in concert, others felt that the cost was too steep and excluded many of her loyal fans who simply couldn’t afford it.

Despite the concerns, however, Beyonce’s Renaissance Tour tickets sold incredibly fast. Some of the most expensive tickets include VIP packages that offer exclusive seating near the front of the stage to get all up, close, and personal with Bey. But even regular seating tickets were said to have been quite expensive, prompting critics to speculate on why she had set such high prices for her tour.
