After a troubling couple of weeks, Drake Bell is back in the headlines yet again.
New pictures have started circulating online showing the former Nickelodeon star sitting in his car Tuesday outside of his L.A. home inhaling a fully inflated balloon. As TMZ points out, in one snap, you can see a canister of some sort that resembles a typical nitrous oxide container. Although huffing nitrous is dangerous, it is known to be a popular method of getting high.
Now those who have been keeping up with the star already know that this is not his first time with nitrous oxide. Back in December, he was snapped doing the exact same but he had l his young son in the car at the time. Drake who’s usually vocal on Twitter has not yet responded to deny or clarify these reports. However, social media users are concerned again for his well-being.
It’s clear that Bell is simply going through a tough time. As we previously reported earlier this month, the Daytona Beach Police Department said that Bell listed him as considered “missing and endangered.” However, following a brief search, he later found that day.
After worrying fans online, he shared a tweet to let his fans know that he was doing okay. “You leave your phone in the car and don’t answer for the night and this?” he wrote alongside laughing emojis.
Although he found that to be a lighting moment, Police explained why they took things so seriously. Per TMZ, police got a call from a “celebrity” who planned to get “drunk” and “hang himself” following an argument with his wife… definitely not a laughing matter.
According to legal documents, his estranged wife Janet Von Schmeling, 28, filed for divorce from the 36-year-old. She listed “irreconcilable differences” in the docs as the primary reason for the divorce. Not only is she seeking spousal support and primary legal and physical custody of their son but she also wants Bell to receive visitation rights.
