Ammy Ventura,40, has filed a lawsuit against Lt. Wilder Lucas,41, and the city of New York for unspecified damages over sexual harassment and discrimination on Tuesday at Manhattan Supreme Court. Court documents state that Lucas and Ventura started dating in 2021, but the affair only lasted for five months when Lucas allegedly became aggressive and vicious, as per the New York Post. Both worked in the property department.

Additionally, the documents state Lucas allegedly demanded Ventura to perform oral sex on him after their date at a shooting range in May 2021 but became enraged when she rejected him. Before breaking up in September of that year, Lucas invited her on a trip to the Dominican Republic. Still, he allegedly invited three other women on the trip and called her f****** annoying. When they returned, he reportedly told her he couldn’t talk to her because he was married. Ventura also claims Lucas allegedly sexually assaulted her in his office during work hours in August 2022.

He allegedly grabbed Ventura by the hair, pulled her behind his desk, and forced her to perform oral sex. At the same time, his door was wide openThe documents claim Ventura felt ‘paralyzed’ and ‘powerless’ after the incident, especially after Lucas demanded threesomes and threatened to kill her if she spoke about their affair. He allegedly told her that he’ll push her in front of a train and said, ‘I’ll f******** kill you.’ He reportedly made lewd comments toward her, making her fearful at work. The single mother says she lives in constant fear for her life, and Lucas also demanded she deletes any evidence of their relationship.

‘As a single mother, [Ventura] lives in constant fear of her financial situation deteriorating as a result of Defendant Lucas’ threats that he could terminate her employment given his position,’

A spokesperson from the NYPD said they are thoroughly investigating the incident. The city law department said they would review the lawsuit once it is served.

‘Sexual discrimination is prohibited by federal, state, and city laws as well as Department policies, and the NYPD takes seriously all accusations of such behavior. The NYPD thoroughly investigates all complaints it receives and offers several reporting options for NYPD employees, including anonymously. The Department does not tolerate discrimination in any form and is committed to respectful work environments for our diverse workforce.

Lucas did not speak about the allegations as he reportedly told the New York Post, ‘I have no idea what you’re talking about.’

The NYPD has had several high-profile cases of sexual harassment over the years, and the department has taken steps to address the problem.

In 2018, the NYPD implemented new policies to combat sexual harassment, including increased officer training and new reporting procedures for victims. The department also created a special unit to investigate sexual harassment complaints.

However, despite these efforts, there have been ongoing reports of sexual harassment within the department. In 2020, a female NYPD officer filed a lawsuit alleging that a male colleague sexually harassed her and that the department failed to take appropriate action.
