Jury Finds Rapper Lil Mosey Not Guilty In Second-Degree Rape Case, Where He Faced Life In Prison
On Thursday (March 2), a jury concluded that Lil Mosey, real name Lathan Echols, was not guilty and should be cleared of all charges against him.
Back in April 2021, Mosey pleaded not guilty to the charges against him. A week prior, it was reported that the rapper was charged in an alleged incident that happened on January 6, 2021 in Randle, Washington.

Mosey, who was 19 at the time, was accused, along with another man (Francisco Prater, 19), of sexually assaulting a woman who met up with them. She alleged that while in a car to the group’s final destination, Mosey exposed himself and she consented to sex.
However, during the ride, the woman claimed she blacked out and later woke up to the rapper and Prater forcibly having sex with her.

The woman claimed she had bruising on her arm, neck, and knee from the alleged incident. She also claimed that she was with a girlfriend, who was allegedly raped as well.
While Lil Mosey has continued to maintain his innocence, he eventually took a polygraph test during his case, to further prove he did not commit the crime — and he reportedly passed “with flying colors.”
Since taking his lie detector test, Lil Mosey has now been declared not guilty and a free man. He was potentially looking at a maximum sentence of life in prison, if the jury found him guilty and convicted him.
