Dang! Ice Cube recently confirmed on a new episode of the ‘Million Dollaz Worth of Game’ podcast that he missed out on a whole $9 million bag because he refused to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

Cube was gearing up to act in a comedic movie from Sony called ‘Oh Hell No,’ which is directed by ‘Bad Trip’ filmmaker Kitao Sakurai, and co-starring Jack Black.
It is reported that producers on the film reportedly requested that all cast members be vaccinated in order to continue working on the film. Initial reports about Cube being dropped from the film over the vaccine refusal first dropped back in October 2021.

Cube told the podcast hosts, “I turned down a movie because I didn’t want to get the motherf**king jab. I turned down $9 million. I didn’t want to get the jab. F**k that jab. F**k ya’ll for trying to make me get it. I don’t know how Hollywood feels about me right now.”
When rapper E-40, who also appeared on the episode, asked Cube about moving to streaming, Cube replied, “That’s Hollywood though. They’re on some sh*t. But me too, I’m on some sh*t too.”
While still speaking on Hollywood, Cube confirmed that he is looking to work on some independent productions. He said, “I’m working on it. I’m hustling,” Cube said. “Got a lot of things up my sleeve.”
Later in the sit-down, Cube continued to explain that he didn’t directly “turn down” the $9 million role, and that it was more so him refusing to get the COVID shot that led to him being taken off the film.
Cube explained, “Those motherfuckers didn’t give it to me because I wouldn’t get the shot. I didn’t turn it down. They just wouldn’t give it to me. The covid shot, the jab…I didn’t need it. I didn’t catch that sh*t at all. Nothing. F**k them. I didn’t need that sh*t.”
