After much speculation, Rihanna has confirmed that she is making a return to music!
That’s right! The superstar shared a teaser video of the song titled “Lift Me Up” which will be a part of original soundtrack for the upcoming film, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.” According to @Variety, it was written by Rihanna herself, Oscar winner Ludwig Göransson, Ryan Coogler, and Tems and also a tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman.
The “Free Mind” singer explained to the outlet, “After speaking with Ryan and hearing his direction for the film and the song, I wanted to write something that portrays a warm embrace from all the people that I’ve lost in my life. I tried to imagine what it would feel like if I could sing to them now and express how much I miss them,” said Tems. “Rihanna has been an inspiration to me so hearing her convey this song is a great honor.”

Boseman, best known for playing Black Panther in the hit Marvel superhero franchise, died of colon cancer at the age of 43. He died in 2020 at his Los Angeles with his wife and family by his side, a statement posted on social media said.
