After the Amber Heard verdict in the Johnny Depp $50 million defamation lawsuit, actress and comedian Kathy Griffin is totally not here for the ‘Pirates of the Carribean‘ star, as she supports Amber and drags Johnny for filth, calling him a “bloated boozebag.”
As we previously shared, Johnny won his defamation case and was awarded $15 million, while Amber won $2 million in her own countersuit case. The controversial case was sparked in response to Amber’s 2018 op-ed piece where she alleged abuse by Johnny.

Kathy Griffin Shows Support For Amber Heard After Johnny Depp Defamation Verdict
A few days ago, Kathy went on the offensive and took some low-blow shots at Johnny, focusing really on his looks. During an appearance on ‘Just Ask The Question with Brian Karem,’ Kathy hurled insult after insult at Johnny and his “stans.”
But before she jumped on Johnny, Kathy voiced her vehement support for Amber. So, it does not come to as much of a surprise, but still it’s pretty awe worthy.
Speaking on the verdict, Kathy said:
“I am friends with Amber Heard. I completely believe her. It’s actually really disturbing to me as a woman and a lifelong feminist. Also, there’s stories going around Hollywood about him being an abuser since Kate Moss — which is the first time I’d heard about it. And then Winona Ryder, when they were dating.”
Of course I cannot speak for these women, but of course I have to wonder. if they just changed their tune because nobody wants to get ‘Amber Hearded.’ And I am a verb myself. I know that when it comes to political discourse, nobody wants to get ‘Kathy Griffined,’ as I was very famously cancelled.
It’s very clear to me. Defamation is something I know a little bit about. And it’s been interesting to watch it go down in a way that has been illuminating, but i think it’s definitely going to set women back. I don’t know if it’s going to kill #MeToo. But I just think Depp is gross.”

Kathy Griffin Drags Johnny Depp & Calls Him A ‘Bloated Boozebag’ After Amber Heard Verdict
Kathy then goes on to slam and drag Johnny Depp.
“You know what I find funny? I love these Johnny Depp fans — stans, as the kids call them … the stans. — and these Johnny Depp stans that are talking about this trial, and yet they refuse to show a picture of what he looks like now.
Which is a big orange, fat, bloated boozebag, who looks like Donald Trump with a ponytail. And so, they keep sticking up for him being like, ‘Amber is taking down Johnny.
He’s so gorgeous and dreamy,’ and I’m like, ‘Okay. He talks like Kanye [West] when Kanye had his jaw wired. He has a fake accent like when Madonna turned British. So who is he?”
Brian Karem interjects and reminds Kathy and listeners that Johnny is a “Kentucky boy.” He added, “He didn’t learn to speak like that in Kentucky.”
Kathy agrees and continues her rant, “He learned it from his idol Keith Richards. How could people not see through such an obvious affectation? And just the whole thing of how he had his digital warriors outside. It’s just — this is a middle aged man. This is pathetic.”
