Post-Conservatorship Britney Spears Tells Fans She Doesn’t Want Anyone To Pity Her: ‘I Don’t Want To Be Loved, I Want To Be Feared’
In one of her latest Instagram posts, Britney Spears says she doesn’t want anyone to pity her or feel sympathetic now that she’s free from her strict and controlling conservatorship, lead by her father Jamie Spears and her other former managers. Instead of other people’s tears and sympathy, Britney says, “I don’t want to be loved, I want to be feared.”
In her IG post, the “Toxic” singer writes about her recent trip to Las Vegas, NV as “normal person.” She recalls her exciting time on vacay and then pivots to shed light on a moment of clarity she had during her day at the spa. She says, “Being able to go to the spa was a highlight as well … and you now what ??? Don’t ever pity me like my masseuse does. ‘People do love you!'” Britney rhetorically asks, “Huh ???? Huh ????”
The popstar goes on to explain how she wants to be perceived by fans and those who support her, and why she feels the way she does. She bluntly adds, “I don’t want to be loved … I want to be feared !!!! Being loved and being nice got me taken advantage of …. so take ur pity and go f**k yourselves!!!” #Socialites, thoughts?
