Naomi Campbell Poses With Her Daughter For The First Time — Opens Up About Motherhood On Her Own Terms
On May 18, 2020, supermodel Naomi model announced that she had welcomed her first child. At the time, she only shared a snap of her newborn daughter’s cute feet along with the caption that read, “A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother,” she wrote. “So honored to have this gentle soul in my life there are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you, my angel. There is no greater love.” Naomi is now opening up about motherhood in her new cover spread for British Vogue.
When asked to elaborate about her daughter’s arrival, all she confirmed was that her baby girl “wasn’t adopted – she’s my child.” Naomi noted that she’s saving those sweet details for her book, which she is yet to begin. She has also decided to keep her daughter’s name private. “I can count on one hand the number of people who knew that I was having her,” she admits. “But she is the biggest blessing I could ever imagine. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done.”
Further, into the conversation Naomi, 51, went on to say, “I always knew that one day I would be a mother, but it’s the biggest joy I could ever imagine. I’m lucky to have her and I know that.” She also goes on to encourage all of her older friends to have babies. “I’m telling them all, do it! Don’t hesitate!”
