Whoopi Goldberg Reportedly Threatening To Quit ‘The View’ After Her Suspension
According to NY Post, sources are speaking out saying Whoopi Goldberg is “livid” after the news broke that she was suspended from the daytime talk show formally known as “the view.”
As we previously reported, Goldberg is currently on suspension over her statement that the Holocaust was “not about race” and according to news outlets, she is telling her coworkers that she is going to quit the show.
A source close to Goldberg, shared that she feels “humiliated” at being suspended by ABC executives after she followed all of the procedures and apologized for the comments she made. “She feels ABC executives mishandled this. She followed their playbook. She went on ‘The Late Show With Steven Colbert’ and then apologized again on ‘The View’ the next day,” the source added.
The source also stated that maybe Goldberg is just saying these things out of frustration, but the source did state, “her ego has been hurt and she’s telling people she’s going to quit”.
