Independent Autopsy Of Former NFL Player Glenn Foster JR. Raises ‘Grave Concerns,’ Died By Strangulation

The leader of the National Urban League organization is very concerned about the circumstances surrounding former NFL player Glenn Foster Jr.’s mysterious in-custody death.

NUL president Marc Morial sent a letter to Foster’s family in regards to the death after an independent autopsy found that he died from strangulation.

“We share your pain and bereavement surrounding the circumstances of Glenn’s death, which indicates that an injustice of immense proportion has been carried out against an innocent caring loving man,” Morial said.

Ben Crump, the attorney for Foster’s family, revealed that an independent autopsy ruled that Foster died from strangulation inside of an Alabama jail. The autopsy found evidence of neck compressions and strangulation and that his death was not from natural causes.

“Clearly, the independent autopsy has raised grave concerns and we will unite to assure justice is done,” Morial added.

As we reported, Glenn Foster, was found dead in the back of a police cruiser while being transported to a medical facility.
