While the search for the next agent 007 is underway, we might just have found a potential contender!
Our favorite action man “The Rock,” Dwayne Johnson is set on playing the next James Bond!
While speaking with Esquire, Johnson, 49, said he wants to be 007 after his grandfather, Peter Maivia, played a villain in the 1967 Bond movie, You Only Live Twice.
“Yes, my grandfather was a Bond villain… with Sean Connery. Very, very cool and I would like to follow in his next footsteps and be the next Bond,” Johnson said. “I don’t want to be a villain. You gotta be Bond.”

As we reported, following Daniel Craig’s exit as 007, the likes of Idris Elba have been a few names suggested to take over the role.
Craig’s final act came in “No Time to Die,” he has been 007 since 2006, when Craig played Bond in “Casino Royale.” If Johnson takes over the role, he will be the ninth actor to take the part.
During his interview, The Rock also elaborated on the fact that he pees in water bottles.
“I do pee in my water bottles, but let me give context to that,” Johnson said. “It’s not a water bottle that I’ve actually purchased solely for water that you wash and clean when you’re done using it. These are just bottles that I’m no longer using.”
“Usually the gyms that I work out in don’t have a bathroom because they’re the iron paradise,” he added. “They’re just hot, sweaty and dirty.”
