Aida Rodriguez’s HBO Max Comedy Special ‘Fighting Words’ Brings Depth & Laughter At Los Angeles Premiere
Aida Rodriguez’s new HBO Max comedy special Fighting Words brought guests and stars to the Conga room in Los Angeles to celebrate the special’s premiere with some comedy and laughter.
Fighting Words is both a comedy and a documentary on Aida’s personal life and struggles as a Puerto Rican and Dominican who has used her pain and story to bring us thought-provoking comedy that is just for laughs while bringing light to the community. The one-hour special is directed by Nadia Hallgren (Becoming) and Kristian Mercado (Pa’Lante) and dives into real life issues that everyone can relate to.
Fighting words premieres November 4!
