Kanye West Helped Kim Kardashian With Rebranding of KKW Beauty
Earlier this week we reported that Kim Kardashian was shutting down the KKW Beauty website and plans to re-brand and re-launch. Following the news many speculated that this was due to her ongoing divorce from Kanye West and dropping the West name, however, that is not the case, and in fact Kanye has helped with the rebrand!
A source close to Kardashian spoke to WWD to reveal that West helped Kim with the new rebrand.

“Kim is still Kim Kardashian West and has not changed her legal name,” the source said. “The rebrand has been in the works for some time. Kanye actually helped Kim come up with the new name and the packaging. The innovative formulas and even the shopping experience of being able to shop all categories in beauty and cosmetics under one brand, one website has always been Kim’s vision from the beginning. She is incredibly excited about this next phase.”
Kanye is also reported to have help with the new packaging formulas that will go into the products.
“It all started with a contour kit and expanded to eyes, lips, body and many incredible collections over the past four years. On August 1st midnight we will be shutting down the kkwbeauty.com site so that we can come back to you under a completely new brand with new formulas that are more modern, innovative and packaged with an elevated and sustainable new look,” Kardashian said on Twitter.
