Virginia Rapper Charged After Posing Atop SWAT Truck For Album Cover During Capitol Riot

Virginia rapper Bugzie the Don, real name Antionne DeShaun Brodnax, is being federally charged after posing atop a SWAT truck, while smoking a cigar, during the Capitol riot on January 6 — something he did all for the cover to his March-released album, ‘The Capital.’

It’s reported that Brodnax was photographed multiple times inside the Capitol, which he reportedly only entered to shoot photos and videos for his then-upcoming project. The rapper’s lawyers affirm their client “peacefully” walked around the building for 40 minutes, grabbing “pictures and videos of the architecture.” But, the feds clearly weren’t having that as they arrested the rapper on March 11, days after his album dropped.

Brodnax has been hit with four federal counts: Entering and Remaining in a Restricted Building or Grounds; Disorderly and Disruptive Conduct in a Restricted Building or Grounds; Disorderly Conduct in a Capitol Building; and Parading, Demonstrating or Picketing in a Capitol Building. #Socialites, thoughts?
