Quando Rondo Calls King Von Shooting An ‘Out-Of-Body Experience’ & Dispels Rumor That He Tried To Take Von’s Chain
During part 2 of his interview with Angela Yee, entitled “November 6th,” Quando Rondo recalls himself having an “out-of-body experience” on the night of the King Von shooting. He also dispels the rumor that he tried to take the Chicago rapper’s chain as he bled out in the street.
While dispelling rumors of being a chain-snatcher, Quando explains, “This like being in Afghanistan and two soldiers shooting it out with two other soldiers. And a bag of money in the middle of the ground. Ma’am. You think people in the middle of a shootout. … So many bullets flying. You think people thinking about that bag of money? … Only people with bad intentions, doing clout chasing stuff, looking to take a n***a chain.”

Throughout the clip, Quando continues to maintain his innocence, claiming had had zero knowledge of any existing beef between himself and King Von. He also says he didn’t know it was Von who punched him during the altercation, until the next day. He explains, “I don’t know where none of that came from. I never in life had words with them. Ever! I did not know that was him. I swear. This is on my life. This is on Neighborhood Crip. I did not know this was him until the next day.”
