NFL’s Adam “Pacman” Jones On Bar Fight & Arrest: ‘I Did What I Needed To Do’

Early Monday morning (Feb. 15), the NFL’s Adam “Pacman” Jones was arrested after he allegedly engaged in a bar fight with an employee, leaving them unconscious.

Police documents say the former NFL cornerback was accused of knocking out a bouncer at a Cincinnati, Ohio bar. Allegedly, he punched and kicked the employee “causing the bouncer to lose consciousness.” Subsequently, Jones was arrested, booked into the Hamilton County Jail, and charged with one count of misdemeanor assault.

Hours after being released from jail, Jones joined a virtual interview with ‘The Pat McAfee Show,’ where he discussed the incident in full. During the episode, Jones insisted that the altercation was NOT fueled by alcohol. Instead, he says that before things got out of control, he was only trying to break up a fight between his brother and the bouncer. He says, “When I turn around, they already on the floor. I separate them. … And that’s when punches and chairs and whatever they was throwing. I did what I needed to do.” #Socialites, thoughts?
