Rita Ora Reportedly Offered Restaurant Nearly $7K To Break COVID Rules For 30th B-Day Party

According to Page Six and TMZ, Rita Ora wanted to have her big 30th birthday bash so bad that she reportedly offered to pay nearly $7K to a restaurant to break COVID rules.

Apparently, police claim a rep for Ora called restaurant Casa Cruz and offered the boss, Scottie Bhattarai, up to $6,829 to provide “drinks and nibbles” for the party in November. As the The U.K. Sun notes, Bhattarai wanted to “facilitate” and admitted he was “greedy.” He reportedly told police only seven guests were expected to arrive but by 9 p.m. local time but almost 20 people showed up.

The owner of Casa Cruz, Nicholas Fallows, told The Sun after the party was busted by cops that he hadn’t known about the party, as the spot is “owned by shareholders.” It was said that Bhattarai has since been removed from his job.

While the singer or her team has yet to speak out on these latest claims against her, she has apologized for ignoring the rules, saying she was “deeply sorry” and admitted it was a “serious and inexcusable error of judgment.”

In her apology she said she knows “first-hand how hard people have worked to combat this terrible illness and being fully aware of the sacrifices that people and businesses have made to help keep us all safe,” and even “though this won’t make it right, I want to sincerely apologize.”
