The phrases ‘WERE’S MY MONEY’ and ‘MITCH KILLS THE POOR’ were spray-painted on McConnell’s front door and window in Louisville early Saturday morning. In response to the vandalism, McConnell said in the following statement:‘I’ve spent my career fighting for the First Amendment and defending peaceful protest. I appreciate every Kentuckian who has engaged in the democratic process whether they agree with me or not. This is different. Vandalism and the politics of fear have no place in our society. My wife and I have never been intimidated by this toxic playbook.’
The Senate Majority Leader added: ‘We just hope our neighbors in Louisville aren’t too inconvenienced by this radical tantrum.’

McConnell faced criticism from the public and his peers after he blocked the increase in stimulus checks for Americans who endured the COVID-19 pandemic. He also claimed the move would be unrealistic for the Senate to pass the bill despite President Trump and Democrats trying to convince him.
A statement from the Louisville Metro Police has yet to be released in reference to the crime.
