‘AGT’ Kid Magicians Kadan & Brooklyn Arrested For Refusing To Live With MotherTMZ, Kadan and Brooklyn Rockett were taken into police custody last week in Farmerville, Louisiana, for refusing to go with police who were attempting to return them to their mother. A Missouri judge ordered the handoff of the teens in the ongoing custody battle with their father.
Local law enforcement sources told the outlet that they had paperwork authorizing the transfer of the children, which stemmed from a 2019 court order issued by a Missouri judge. In the clip of the intense confrontation, the teens say they’re afraid of their mother and don’t want to go back to her. However, cops say they have no choice. As the kids refuse to comply, the cop begins reading them their Miranda rights and then places 15-year-old Kadan and 13-year-old Brooklyn in cuffs.
Their father, Bart Rockett, posted an update on Facebook after they were released:
“My “babies” are FREE and SAFE!!!! I am not allowed to post any court details at this time because of a gag order but I can tell you they are free and safe!!! (and very very very happy and hungry right now!!!! ),” Bart said in his caption l with a photo snapped at the detention center. “Thank you, thank you, thank you for all the prayers and support!!!! We can never say thanks enough. I have tears in my eyes trying to type this. It appears this lengthy nightmare may just be over.”
