Florida Man Shot In Face For Complaining About Smoothie Wait Times
A Florida man was shot in the face after complaining about wait times at a smoothie place in Miami.
The 39-year-old victim was waiting at theTropical Smoothie Cafe on Okeechobee Road, and seemed to be complaining about the longer than usual wait times. A masked gunman soon entered and shot him in the face. He then ran off into a nearby apartment complex, but police have not located him.

The victim was taken to the hospital, where he remained as of Monday morning. He is currently in serious condition.
“It was scary because it was close to home, close to my job,” Yesemia Ramirez said of the incident. “We would never expect something like that to happen here.”
Police said the victim initially ordered something that was no longer available. Staff then tried to fulfill the man’s order, who began to complain about the wait time.
“He became very vocal about the wait time for his order,” Jachles said. “At the same time, this gunman comes into store, confronts the customer (who) was complaining, shot him and then fled the store.”
“Certainly, nobody deserves to be shot because they’re complaining about the wait time,” Jachles said.
Nobody else was hurt and the relationship between the shooter and victim is not clear.
