Ghislaine Maxwell Fears She’ll Murdered In Jail Like Jeffrey Epstein
Ghislaine Maxwell, 58, says she believes her longtime confidante Jeffrey Epstein, 66, was murdered after being found in his New York jail cell last August, with a cause of death ruled a suicide. Now, Maxwell fears she’ll have the same fate.
Just this week, Maxwell was denied bail after pleading not guilty to the sex trafficking charges against her. Until her trial next summer, she will be held in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, where she has been placed on suicide watch.

Additionally, Maxwell’s fears arrive two weeks after she first began receiving death threats ahead of her arrest. Subsequently, while still hiding in her New Hampshire property, Maxwell’s brother hired ex-British soldiers to look after her. While in jail, Attorney General Bill Barr now insists the government will not let her die in jail like Epstein.
Barr tells ABC News, “We have asked [the government] to tell us specifically the protocols they’re following and we have a number of redundant systems to monitor the situation.”
