75-Year-Old Buffalo Protester Shoved By Police Has Fractured Skull & Can’t Walk
The attorney for the 75-year-old Buffalo protestor Martin Gugino, who was shoved by two police officers earlier this month — who are now suspended — has released a statement that Gugino is now unable to walk and has suffered a fractured skull.
Gugino’s attorney, Kelly Zarcone, says, “I am not at liberty to elaborate at this time other than to confirm that his skull was fractured. While he is not able to walk yet, we were able to have a short conversation before he became too tired. He is appreciative of all of the concern about him but he is still focused on the issues rather than himself.”

While Gugino remains in rehabilitation, he has not yet appeared in an interview. In the meantime, Zarcone passes along a message from him, saying, “I think it’s very unnecessary to focus on me. There are plenty of other things to think about besides me.”
Furthermore, the two officers who used forceful use on the elderly protestor have since been suspended without pay and are being investigated.
