Obama Fires Shots At Trump During Graduation Speech
Former POTUS Barack Obama not only addressed the class of 2020 with an uplifting and motivational virtual graduation speech for HBCU graduates, but he also took the time to fire shots back at President Donald Trump, who just won’t let up on his #Obamagate agenda.
While President Trump and his administration continue to poke Obama, claiming he and his administration left the office a mess for him and his team to clean up — including poor pandemic preparation and alleged crimes and cover-ups — Obama fires back and puts the blame back on Trump for his own poor response to the coronavirus pandemic, among other things.

During his speech on Saturday (May 16), Obama gave Trump one hell of a read, stating, “Doing what feels good, what’s convenient, what’s easy, that’s how little kids think. Unfortunately, a lot of so-called grownups with fancy titles and important jobs still think that way. That’s why things are so screwed up. More than anything, this pandemic has fully, finally torn back the curtain on the idea that so many of the folks in charge know what they’re doing. A lot of them aren’t even pretending to be in charge.”
Moreover, in a recent press conference, White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany boasted about Trump’s work during the pandemic, praising, “President Trump’s unprecedented coronavirus response has saved lives.” Subsequently, her many journalists and social media users criticized her remarks.

In addition to Obama’s comments about Trump’s response, during his speech to the HBCU graduates, he also addressed the many injustices that have plagued black communities, including the most recent case of Ahmaud Arbery.
