34-Year-Old Man Dies From Coronavirus After Visiting Disney World

A 34-year-old man California man has passed away after contracting coronavirus following a visit to Disney World.

TMZ reports that Jeffrey Ghazarian from Glendora, CA, passed away in Pasadena on Thursday after battling what first started as a simple cough.

Jeffrey’s sister said that he “He suffered a lot and put up a good fight. We will miss our Jeff every day but we are thankful for all the fun happy memories of the times we had together.”

Jeffrey did not have any serious underlying conditions, except light asthma and he had bronchitis as a child. He also battled testicular cancer in 2016 and recovered.

According to his family, he visited Orlando on March 2 for work and decided to remain in Florida for a few more days to visit Disney World. Suddenly on March 7, he developed a cough which got worse and he began to cough up blood. He quickly flew back to Los Angeles on March 9, where he developed a fever and was rushed to the hospital. He was diagnosed with pneumonia, and he was tested for COVID-19.

Per TMZ, his results came back positive for coronavirus on March 13, and he was given an oxygen meter to help his lungs, but when his condition worsened he was taken to the ICU, where doctors discovered that
60-70 percent of his lungs were blocked with pneumonia.

Jeff was scheduled to get anti-viral meds but his condition worsened and he died on Thursday.
