Walt Disney World Resort Shuts Down Amid Coronavirus Outbreak

Might as well cancel that annual family trip to Disney World because officials have shut down the park and resort as a precaution against the coronavirus.

WTSP reports Disney World will be closing as a result of the recent coronavirus outbreak although there were no confirmed cases at the park. Disney Cruise Line will cease all operations starting on Saturday, March 14 to the end of the month. However, the adjacent hotels at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Paris along with its retail and dining areas, Disney Springs, and Disney Village will remain open.

Walt Disney Company corporate employees are encouraged to work from home and park employees will be paid despite the recent closures.
