As we previously reported, group of guys ran up on 6ix9ine while he was in the sauna at a gym in Florida. The incident took place at an LA fitness when the rapper was attacked. Reports say the injuries were so bad he had to be rushed to a nearby hospital.

6ix9ine’s attorney, Lance Lazzaro spoke with TMZ and said the rapper was attacked without any warning and he attempted to fight back but it was too many men to fight off. Lance also noted that 6ix9ine didn’t have any security with him at the time of the attack. Video footage of the attack quickly circulated on Twitter. The video seems to have been posted by the men who put paws on the rapper. The caption on the video says, “king sh*t we caught 6ix9ine slipping f*ck a rat ADR not in our hood.” After the attack workers at the gym quickly notified authorities and he was taken to the hospital. His attorney gave more detail on what the next steps will look like for the rapper. For starters, Lazzaro said they will be contacting the Feds so 6ix9ine can get the proper protection that he needs.

As we previously reported, 6ix9ine was released early from jail after pleading guilty and helping prosecutors send several of his former gang associates in the Nine Trey Bloods behind bars. The performer, who is also known as 6ix9ine and whose legal name is Daniel Hernandez, spent nearly 13 months in a federal jail and that time was counted towards his sentence. Federal prosecutors in Manhattan had described his cooperation against members of the Nine Trey Bloods as “extraordinary” and “extremely useful.”

Since his release many people have considered the rapper as to being a snitch but 6ix9ine continues to plead his case and not pay attention to the internet. The rapper now spends his time shopping, traveling and flexing a lot of money on the gram.
