A lot of people didn’t get the memo that a new episode of Power Book Ghost wouldn’t be coming out this week. Apparently, Power Book 2: Ghost Season 3, Episode 9 (“A Last Gift”) is scheduled to drop Friday, May 19 at 8:00 p.m. ET on Starz. However, somehow, some way, folks were still able to watch it!

Tons of Power fans have been tweeting about the alleged show leak on Twitter with many reacting to some of the wild scenes. One person tweeted, “They done leaked power episode 9 and 10 AND BABY LET ME TELL YALLLLL …ITS SOME SHITTTTTTTTT GOING DOWNN TARIQ & BRAYDEN VS EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! #PowerBook2” Another person said, “MY HEART JUST BEAT SO FAST WATCHING EPISODE 9 OF POWER.” A third said, “Power episodes 9 & 10 were the best !! Tariq better go LETHAL on them and that’s all imma say 💯”

While most people are still holding out and waiting to catch the show on Starz at the scheduled time, Executive producer 50 Cent is not happy about the slip-up… at all. The business mogul took to Instagram and said, “Give it up for the only network that leaks its biggest shows. 👏👏👏great work guys! #bransoncognac #lecheminduroi”

More On 50 Cent’s Issues With The Network

Fif’ has lashed out at the network on numerous occasions. In 2018 he inked a four-year deal with Starz that was reportedly worth up to $150 million. In April 2020, the network greenlit the series Black Mafia Family, the story of Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory, two brothers who rise to influence in the drug trade in 1980s Detroit. That same year, his G-Unit Film & Television added two more shows to Starz.

However, things appeared to be Rocky in 2021 after 50 claimed the network was mad at him for accidentally leaking confidential information about Patina Miller’s role on Power Book II: Kanan. However, later that year, 50 called them out over an editing fail in the show. He said at the time, “Starz needs me! It don’t come out right when I’m not involved.” In the caption, he wrote: “EARRINGs, No Earrings EARRINGs, No Earrings, No Earrings EARRINGS. LMAO,” he said referring to a character missing a gold earring in one of the scenes.

That wasn’t all. In November 2021, he labeled Starz “a shit show” after episode seven of Black Mafia Family aired ahead of its scheduled time. In a now-deleted post he said, Starz is a sh** show, they better sell it fast. They put the f****** BMF show on, then took it down. what network does sh** like that? They just ruined the anticipation of The episode I directed, I WORKED HARD ON THIS. I can’t work with these people anymore.” In a follow-up post that featured a still of rapper Eminem playing White Boy Rick in BMF, 50 went on to say, “Episode 7 of BMF is the best work I have done directing to date. I’m disappointed that STARZ handled this so poorly,” he wrote.

In March 2022, he threatened to remove BMF and all of the shows in the Power universe from the network due to behind-the-scenes drama with dealings.

Although things are clearly intense, it’s safe to say that the shows are all a big hit. Socialites, what are your thoughts on this? Sound off in the comment box below!
