31-Year-Old Woman Falls To Death While Posing On A Cliff To Celebrate End Of Lockdown

A Kazakhstan woman died last weekend after falling more than 110 feet to her death.

According to Fox News, the woman identified as Olesia Suspitsina, 31, was out hiking with a friend in Duden Park, located in Antalya, Turkey — celebrating the end to the city’s shelter-in-place order.

Suspitsina reportedly climbed over a safety fence in the park. From there, she decided to snap a pic off the edge of a cliff in front of its waterfalls, before slipping and plummeting roughly 115 feet, the news site notes citing Sputnik Turkey.

Suspitaina’s friend who happened to be with her called emergency services, who pulled Suspitsina’s lifeless body out of the water and took it to the morgue of Antalya Forensic Medicine Institue for an autopsy. Authorities later determined her death was an accident, according to her relatives. One of her family members told the Daily Mail:

“Olesya was a smart and cheerful person. She set goals and made them happen.” As Fox News notes, Suspitsina reportedly worked as a tour guide in the city for the last five years. The young woman’s body is set to be transported from Turkey to Kazakhstan on Saturday.
