The father, in a distressed 911 call, described the horrific scene: “I just woke up and my daughter is dead. There’s blood everywhere, I don’t know what happened.” The mother, Gina Smith, expressed heartbreak at not being able to say goodbye to her beloved daughter, stating, “I felt like she was ripped away from us. Like you know, we don’t have that anymore. Now all we got is memories.”
