3 In 10 Republicans Believe Donald Trump Will Be Back In The Oval Office This Year
If you ask 3 out of 10 Republicans or 29 percent, Donald Trump will be making his way back into the Oval Office sometime this year. According to a new Politico-Morning Consult poll, Trump will be restored into the White House in 2021.
Meanwhile, 72 percent of Americans across all political ideologies say it’s “not very likely” or “not likely at all” that he’ll be reinstated. Now, 19 percent oppose that and when broken down by party, 61 percent of Republicans, 70 percent of independents, and 84 percent of Democrats believe Trump will remain outside the White House — however, 13 percent of Democrats say he will.

Outside of the surveys, Trump and his team are also keeping the theory very much alive. Earlier this month, New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman tweeted, “Trump has been telling a number of people he’s in contact with that he expects he will get reinstated by August (no that isn’t how it works but simply sharing the information).” Whether or not he makes back in this year, Trump has still got his eye on the 2024 election, telling Candace Owens last month, “The answer is I’m absolutely enthused. I look forward to doing an announcement at the right time.”
