3 Arrested After Louisiana Man Accused Of Raping Niece Allegedly Hired Hitmen To Kill Her, They Killed 2 Others Instead

Beaux Cormier, an Acadiana, Louisiana man whose niece accused him of rape, has been arrested, along with two hitmen he allegedly hired to kill her; but ended up killing two others instead.

In alleged hopes of forever silencing his niece, authorities say Cormier placed a hit on her before she could testify in court. However, the case shifted dramatically, after the two men he allegedly hired to handle her, killed the wrong people — two women who were trying to protect the real victim. One was Cormier’s sister, Brittany Cormier and the other identified as Hope Nettleton.

The incident occurred on On January 13 at a home in Montegut, LA in Terrebonne Parish. The two women tried to fight off the hitmen, and ended up being shot to death. Now, Cormier, of Kaplan, has been arrested for third-degree rape of a family member, and, as a registered sex offender, likely faces a substantial sentence if convicted. Additionally, the two other men, 25-year-old Andrew Eskine from Carencro and 22-year-old Dalvin Wilson of Rayne face charges in the double killing as well. All three men are in jail, each on a $2 million bond.
