Leading the pack for the second year straight, Kendrick Lamar stays solid as the top contender with nine nominations. His collab with SZA, “Luther,” is nominated for Record and Song of the Year, and his fifth studio album GNX is up for Album of the Year. The man doesn’t miss.

Right behind him, Lady Gaga keeps her crown shining with seven nominations, alongside powerhouse producers Cirkut and Jack Antonoff. Meanwhile, Leon Thomas — who’s been low-key shaping the sound of R&B — racks up six nods along with Sabrina Carpenter and this year’s Super Bowl headliner, Bad Bunny.

And speaking of Bad Bunny, this man just made Grammys history — becoming the first Spanish-language artist to earn nominations for Album, Record, and Song of the Year in the same year. Talk about breaking barriers.

This year also shines a light on some first-time nominees like Teyana Taylor, Destin Conrad, Addison Rae, Olivia Dean, and Lola Young — artists who’ve been on their grind and are finally getting their flowers.

The 2026 Grammy Awards will air Sunday, February 1, 2026, live from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Catch it on CBS or stream it on Paramount+. While you’re here, keep scrolling to see the full list of nominees and get your predictions ready.

Who’s Dominating the 2026 Grammy Awards?

This year’s Grammy slate proves music is as diverse and electric as ever. From rap and R&B to rock, gospel, and Afrobeat, the field is wide open.

Kendrick Lamar looks set for another legendary sweep with GNX nominated across major categories, while Lady Gaga’s “Mayhem” brings theatrical chaos and emotion in equal measure. Sabrina Carpenter’s “Man’s Best Friend” and Tyler, the Creator’s “Chromakopia” are also shaping up to be fan favorites.

Let’s not overlook Clipse, yes, Pusha T and Malice are back and nominated for Best Rap Album with Let God Sort Em Out. That’s real hip-hop energy right there.

And in R&B? Teyana Taylor’s “Escape Room” finally got its Grammy love, alongside Coco Jones, Ledisi, and Leon Thomas, whose “Mutt” has been the quiet storm of the year.
