Speaking about the unfortunate event, Livingstone College President Dr. Anthony Davis said the school is working with local law enforcement and is evaluating its public safety measures:
“I am saddened because our students, alumni, family and friends were exposed to this senseless act of violence.” The school will also. be assessing students’ mental health following the gun violence, Davis said.
