A California teen has become the youngest student to graduate from Fullerton College ever.

According to ABC 7, 13-year-old Jack Rico of La Mirada graduated this year with his fourth associate’s degree and he plans to continue his education at the University of Nevada with a full scholarship. His family will celebrate with a drive-by parade since all graduation ceremonies are canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Rico has been attending college since he was 11 and earned his associate degrees over the course of two years.

He says he wants to earn his bachelor’s degree in history but wants to take his time while planning the future:

“I’m 13, so I don’t want to rush everything. I’m still trying to figure it out, but I just want to focus on learning right now. That’s what I love to do.”
