A boy was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting while traveling with his parents in La Puente, California.
According to KTLA, the shooting took place late Sunday night near the intersection of North Hacienda Boulevard and Amar Road. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement that the boy was identified as 10-year-old Sebastian Falcon and he was riding in the backseat with his brother while his mother and her boyfriend were riding in the front.
According to the boy’s uncle, Jose Campos, another car pulled up to the vehicle and someone opened fire at them.

Authorities reported that Sebastian was struck in the upper body from a single gunshot and was rushed to a nearby hospital but he succumbed to his injuries.

LA County Sheriff’s deputy Trina Schrader said in a statement that investigators have searched the area Sunday and Monday night but there haven’t been any leads. In the victim’s GoFundMe, he was described as an “energetic child who loved dogs.”
So far, there have been no leads in the investigation and a suspect has not been identified.
