1-Year-Old Boy Fatally Shot, 3 Men Wounded At Brooklyn Park Cookout
A 1-year-old boy, who was sitting in his stroller, was fatally shot, while three men were left wounded after a shooting at a Brooklyn park cookout this weekend. The incident took place on Sunday around 11:35 p.m. at the Raymond Bush playground on Madison St. near Marcus Garvey Blvd. in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
Law enforcement officials say several men exited a dark-colored SUV and began firing shots, with toddler Davell Garner being struck in the stomach and rushed to the hospital, where he died at 2:39 a.m. Garner, was just two months shy of his second birthday.

Additionally, the three wounded men — a 35-year-old shot in the groin, a 27-year-old shot in the ankle, and a 36-year-old hit in the right ankle — are all expected to survive. Police have yet to make any arrests. This quadruple shooting was one of 28 incidents during another bloody weekend in New York, including 35 people shot citywide.
