The remaining two victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The hospital’s chief medical officer, Dr. Peter DeYoung, confirmed that eight patients who were already receiving treatment at the hospital were safely transferred to other facilities.

Although the emergency room doors and an aquarium were damaged in the crash, the overall condition of the building remained stable. Dr. DeYoung assured the public that the hospital was in good condition, and no further ambulances were being accepted. However, walk-in patients were still being treated at a makeshift triage area located at the ambulance bay.
