Fedex Shooter Identified As 19-year-old Brandon Scott Hole

The suspect who killed eight people at an Indianapolis FedEx facility has been identified as 19-year-old Brandon Scott Hole. It is believed that he targeted members of the Sikh community who worked at the facility.

Law enforcement revealed his identity to NBC News. Two law enforcement are currently searching a home in Indianapolis related with Hole and have seized evidence, including computers and other electronic media. He is apparently known to federal authorities.

As we reported, the shooting reportedly went down after 11 p.m. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department spokeswoman Officer Genae Cook told reporters that the gunman killed himself at the scene. A search found eight bodies, she added. That number did not include the gunman. No law enforcement officers were injured, she said. Police were still working to identify the deceased and notify their families.

In a statement, FedEx said: “We are deeply shocked and saddened by the loss of our team members following the tragic shooting at our FedEx Ground facility in Indianapolis. Our most heartfelt sympathies are with all those affected by this senseless act of violence. The safety of our team members is our top priority, and we are fully cooperating with investigating authorities.”
