1,000 People Attend Massive College Party In Colorado, Causing Mayhem & Police Injuries

Despite the loss of 6,000 lives, due to COVID-19, upwards of 1,000 people gathered for a massive college party in Colorado. The event ended in mayhem, with police injuries.

The incident occurred on Saturday night (Mar. 6) at the University of Colorado Boulder campus — specifically in an area the students call “The Hill.” Law enforcement officials estimate that upwards of 1,000 people, if not more, partied their tales off without any masks or following any coronavirus regulations.

In addition to being a super spreader event, things turned insanely violent — as if these students tried to recreate the movie ‘Project X.’ Videos and photos have surfaced of students reportedly flipping over cars and committing other crimes of property damage. Things intensified when partygoers refused to leave upon police arrival, which prompted the city’s SWAT unit to respond. During the mayhem, at least three law enforcement officials and first responders were injured and immediately removed.

Since, the university has spoken out. A statement reads, “We condemn this conduct. It is unacceptable and irresponsible, particularly in light of the volume of training, communication and enforcement the campus and city have dedicated to ensuring compliance with COVID-19 public health orders. CU Boulder will not tolerate any of our students engaging in acts of violence or damaging property.”
